With over 12 years of experience in the security industry, Troy has built a strong foundation across diverse environments, from events, licensed venues to hospital and mental health facilities throughout the Darling Downs and South East Queensland. His career has seen him manage, supervise and coordinate security operations for major events across the Toowoomba region and Western Downs, including the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers, regional rodeos and bull rides, annual town shows, nightclubs, pubs, restaurants and race day events. These roles have required strong leadership, adaptability, and the ability to manage complex security logistics under pressure.
Troy holds Certificate II & III in Security Operations, Monitoring, and Bodyguarding, along with Advanced First Aid qualifications. Troy has also completed the relevant MAYBO course training (implemented through Queensland Health) to strengthen his skills in managing & understanding challenging and high-risk situations and be able to effectively manage security operations over multiple health and government sites.
As a qualified trainer, Troy holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and has been actively delivering training for the past three years, helping new students gain accreditation and enter the industry while also keeping current staff compliant through refresher training. Recently, Troy expanded my training role further by acquiring an RTO to continue building industry skills and standards. Troy’s current management roles extend across the Western Darling Downs, Toowoomba, Ipswich, Brisbane, and the Gold Coast, giving him broad oversight of security operations in both regional and metropolitan Queensland as part of Australia’s largest crowd control supply network. Troy brings a balance of operational leadership, training expertise, and client-focused management, ensuring security operations run smoothly while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and safety.
